We are very pleased to announce that richard III redux, co-authored by Kaite O’Reilly and Phillip Zarrilli was selected as one of three finalist scripts for the prestigious 2019 JAMES TAIT BLACK PRIZE IN DRAMA awarded annually for ‘innovation’ in playwriting. Written specially for Welsh performer, Sara Beer, it was fantastic that what O’Reilly describes as a piece of “radical crip culture” was named a finalist for the award along with James O. Harris’ Slave Play (produced by New York Theatre Workshop) and Clare Barron’s Dance Nation (produced by the Almeida). [Clare Barron was awarded the prize, and we congratulate her!]
